Exceptional quality throughout, this very special designer mid century modern sewing table was designed by Johannes Andersen and produced by Silkeborg Møbelfabrik in Denmark during the 1960s.

Beautifully restored and crafted in richly figured Brazilian rosewood, it features a clever sliding drop side top, a fitted drawer with original sewing holders, and a pull out cane woven basket for wool or fabric. Raised on slim tapered legs, this versatile piece works equally well as a sewing table or as a striking occasional side table beside a chair or sofa.
