This Danish secretaire bookshelf in teak was designed by Johannes Sorth and made by Nexo Møbelfabrik in the 1960s. It reflects the practical and well considered style of Scandinavian modern design.

Below, a tambour door compartment opens to reveal drawers and dividers for organised storage. A pull out desk shelf provides a compact workspace and extends the total depth to 61 cm. Restored, the cabinet shows age related marks that highlight its history and use.
